Sultana Scones

Son made these, a tea-time favourite at our house.

250g self-raising flour
1 egg
50g butter
75g caster sugar
75g sultanas
120 ml milk

Rub the butter into the flour.
Stir in sugar and sultanas.
Beat egg into milk and add 3/4 of it to form a dough,
reserve rest to brush over the tops of the scones and sprinkle sugar on.
Gently roll and use cutters to cut approximate circles or divide dough into 2
large scones and score into quarters before brushing with egg/milk and sprinkling with sugar.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 200C.
Serve with butter...mmmmm.
