Sorry about the poor quality of these pics but I took them in a hurry! We were astounded to see this fledgling baby blackbird outside the front window! He/she was very loud and obviously just jumped from its nest..still had a few baby feathers and no tail feather yet..it hopped onto the window ledge before hopping down into the garden..we were absolutely mesmerized! It's dad kept watch, swooping over the garden.
We've christened him Barney! How gorgeous?!
