Afternoon tea at the Westminster tearoom on Lord Street in Southport...we came upon this place quite by chance, it was rather lovely....nice, friendly staff and an extensive selection of food and drink to choose from all served elegantly in a traditional manner on silver stands with 1930's music playing in the background. I loved it.
The Mayfair afternoon tea with an extra order of Babycham! A choice of crumpets or cheese on toast, a warm, fruit scone with clotted cream and jam and a wonderful silver teapot of leaf-tea.
A delightful, gem of a place..I'd definitely revisit and recommend. I bought some gift vouchers for a present for someone, hope they have a lovely time too.
