Sunny lunch at Harvey Nick's.

A beautiful sunny Friday sat on the balcony at Harvey Nick's Fourth Floor restaurant in Leeds...felt like being on holiday.




Poached hen's egg with parmesan on sprouting broccoli.



Ham hock and apple salad with soft-boiled quail's eggs and rocket....was delicious.



Sea trout with lemon butter and noodles with crab, spring onion and chilli. Wonderful.


Yorkshire Rhubarb trifle. Very nice....a little over-facing I only managed half! I am fascinated by the Yorkshire Rhubarb Triangle and would love to visit and watch the growers pick the forced stems by candlelight..apparently you can hear them growing...they look a bit alien...but the tender stems are so delicious.
