I've planted my wall basket with alpines this time.

White Admiral Phlox

My new plant for my herbacious border, a White Admiral Phlox. I'm hoping it will spread so I can divide it. I like white flowers, they provide a good cool contrast to all the other colours, restful on the eye.

Sinkful of Joy

Joy the cat has taken to sitting in the kitchen sink. Bonkers, that cat! Maybe I can train her to wash-up....now there's a thought....

Magnificent Magnolia

I came across this wonderful Magnolia tree today. The petals were the most beautiful pink colour, all waxy and unspoilt.

Baked Camembert

Pierce the cheese a few times, sprinkle with white wine, a few sprigs of thyme and black pepper. Bake in its box for about 20-30 mins then dip toasted pitta bread fingers in...voila, your own little fondu!
