Matte nail polish

This is odd stuff...you paint it over your nail varnish and watch as it turns it matte...which is actually quite fascinating to watch (I must get out more!) But it does look rather fab and fashionista and feels velvety smooth.

Handmade books

I've been having a bit of a clear up and sort out in the loft..anyway I came across these little handmade books I made several years ago for an exhibition..they still seem relevant for what I'm up to these days.

I'd even embroidered a used tea bag on my degree course, causing the head of the course much amusement, but I loved the shading effect of the tea stain! So I did another for this project.

Tree shadow

We were marvelling at this awesome tree shadow on the way up to school this morning!

Porridge time!

Brrrrrrrr it's cold out today! Playground like sheet glass and the first sign of snow in the air.... Time to make porridge!
