Woody Woodpecker!

I was absolutely astounded to see this cheeky Woodpecker on the birdfeeder this morning....I ain't never seen one in the garden before...at all come to think of it! Aw lovely Woody...what a handsome fellow..

Olympic torch in Halifax!

There were huge crowds waiting to greet and cheer the Olympic torch's arrival into Halifax today...great atmosphere as we stood on North Bridge.

After the procession is over, back to normality! Awesome and surreal! Glad we were there..and the rain held off!

Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.

What a lovely weekend of celebrations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. There was of course, lots of cake..
